A World of Hate

Think about the last time you thought someone didn't like you and how it made you melt inside just a little. Betrayal? Sneaky snake? Or maybe just a dickhole who you thought nothing of but still noticed the fact that they feel the same about you?

Here's an insight:

There is no way your sense of self, your enjoyment of the world, you "love" of self, if you will, should be dependant on how others may/may not think of you. I mean, should it? Do you argue the converse?

And yet it does. So put succinctly: You should aim to be the kind of person that could live in a world of people that hate you.

All of this is human stuff. A properly built robot would not care. Why should you?
