[Al] You-Bots

Dude!

Dude.

If some thing or other used your online chat interactions as training data (you must be prolific for this to work), you could absolutely create a practical bot that can at least do fun stuff.

Maybe answer the phone if you're trying to get ahold of and chat with a particular person:

  1. Response seen on ...discord, imessage, telegram, slack...
  2. Your little bot picks up and starts talking chatting as required.
  3. Your bot keeps person busy until actual-you can be automatically notified. Which happens automatically.
  4. You press a button and take control of the convo-in-question.

If you are not available, fine. Bot gets some free training courtesy of Verizon Customer Service, or Aunt Margret (depending on your preferences.)

Or. I mean. Mahn. There's endless stuff.

You could let bot go free with some constraints. Like, the bot gets an object or objects that represent actual-people with which they can try periodically to interact, just for training. Of course you can and should constrain stuff sufficiently, because you are deceiving these people.

Sad trooth: the above is completely ruined if you get consent from anyone you choose to interact with.

Happy trooth: if you absolutely cannot stand to interact with someone, you could train and constrain your bot targeted at a "loved one" and, maybe after ethical wrestling, you think this is the kindest thing to do, because person wants interaction with you and does not care about the quality.
